P/J combination prodigy...

Yet another P/J bass from the 90's. Something between the JP-90's design and the Jazz Bass Special. This one was made in the USA. It is known to be an active bass, probably to please the Heavy Metal Headbangers in search for a more modern sound than the P-Bass. The narrowed headstock and the logo are typical from the early 90's with its square font. The body is thinner and lighter than on classic fender basses.

The Fender Prodigy's production was discontinued after 2 years. It can be found for a few bucks on eBay (around 400 dollars max).
