Mike Kerr's signature Jaguar bass: in-between guitar and bass

Mike Kerr is one of a kind bass player. When you listen to his band, Royal Blood, you wouldn't tell it's only a two people band since you hear guitar and bass at the same time. His secret? Octavers, pitch shifters, fuzz, dual guitar and bass amp setup, and his own way of playing guitar-like riffs on his bass.  Mike is known for playing short scale basses like the Gretsch Electromatic Jr, the Fender Starcaster bass or the Jaguar Deluxe. The new short-scale Jaguar bass uncovers the prime ingredient of Mike's sound : punchy and aggressive with a lot of treble and low ends! (Image credit: David Wolff - Patrick/Redferns) The Mike Kerr's signature Jaguar Bass Fender and Mike decided to edit a limited release of the bassist new weapon. This passive shortscale Jaguar Bass is made in Mexico. Apart from the original Tiger Blood orange color that gives a vintage tone to the instrument, the most obvious feature is the mini-humbucker close to the bridge which reminds us of the Gibs
